  1. Gotta say that, as a beginner to magic loop, this pattern is really confusing for a beginner. The Turn Heel section was especially unclear. Patterns have to provide more directions for someone who is just starting out using this technique, otherwise why label it “beginner”?

      Hi Jena,
Thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry that you are having problems understanding the free pattern. If you are new to socks as well as magic loop perhaps our Toe-Up Socks on Magic Loop might be more beneficial to you. ~Candy

I have never knitted socks and have a little experience with magic loop so watching the video would really help. Is the video really 17.99 or did I look at it wrong? That is way too much to pay.

    1. Hi Donna,
The Toe-Up Socks on Magic Loop is an entire step-by-step video class, with 19 videos included. Compared to Craftsy or in-person classes at your local yarn store, this is a very economical choice. If you would like to take a full sock-knitting class, I recommend ours as a wonderful online option. Thousands of students have learned to knit socks after going through the class. I hope this helps! -Liat
