Here you will learn to knit with several colors at once. Whether you knit American style, Continental style, or both, I will show you how to hold and knit with different colors of yarn and keep your tension correct so you can knit repeating and geometric designs with ease.
Below is an example of the above chart in action. Notice that you can change which colors you are using in the key and create designs that look even more complex than they really are!
The mitten pattern from which this chart is taken is no longer available. But in the Patterns for Practice chapter below we give you three different options for recommended Fair-Isle projects to try.
