Recommended Notion: Stitch Markers – Locking by Clover

Locking stitch markers are the easiest way to keep track of where you are in your knitting. They can be slipped onto the needle or locked around a specific stitch.
To easily count your rows later, slip a locking stitch marker around a stitch in the first row where you want to start counting - your “Row 1.” When you think you have knitted as far as you need to and you want to count your rows, you’ll have “Row 1” clearly marked with the stitch marker. See How to count your rows in knitting.
