Right Leg Warmer

Work as for Left Leg Warmer, but refer to Right Leg Warmer chart.

Finishing:

Weave in ends.
Block leg warmers to 15 in. wide by 17 in. tall.
Sew 4 buttons ½-in. from the edge along each leg warmer on the side opposite the buttonholes.

Make a twisted-cord tie as follows:
Cut an 8-foot length of yarn. Thread a tapestry needle onto the yarn and move it to the midpoint of the yarn.

Twist one end of the yarn until the strand curls up on itself. Holding the yarn ends, fold yarn in half at the tapestry needle. Bring yarn ends together.

Let go of the tapestry needle and let yarn spin into a cord. Even it out with your fingers. Tie cord in a knot at the open end.

Using the  tapestry needle and entering leg warmer from one edge on RS, weave cord in and out of ribbing until you reach the other edge, ending on RS.

Tie a knot in the tapestry-needle-end of the cord. Cut cord at tapestry needle. Center the cord on the leg warmer.

When you put the legwarmers on, use the cord to tie the leg warmers just below the knee.
