Garter stitch is the fabric created when you knit every row, that is, on both the RS and the WS.

Garter stitch is reversible, lies flat, and is bulkier than Stockinette stitch.


Instructions

Garter Stitch (Flat)

  1. Row 1 (RS) and all RS rows: K.
  2. Row 2 and all WS rows: K.
