Brioche stitch makes a double-sided fabric that looks similar to ribbing but is easier to do in two colors. Once you know the brioche stitch you can make any knitted garment using it, be it hats, sweaters, scarves, and more.

Anyone can learn to knit one- and two-color brioche with our proven step-by-step video courses. And because Brioche is a little complicated, the simplicity of KnitFreedom's videos really make a difference when you are learning this new technique.

just got this pattern in the newsletter. I have some sock yarn that I bought and don’t want to make socks. Can I use it instead of lace yarn? I figure I can use the black for the second color to create a really nice distinction. I already have nice DPN’s. BTW never did brioche before but this will be fun. Keep my mind on something positive. stay well.

    1. Hi dear! Great to hear from you.
I’m working on getting the linked videos back in the patterns, so I definitely will have them in there in the future.
Sorry that I don’t have them in there right now.
If you go to your Brioche class at https://www.knitfreedom.com/members/brioche you can watch all the videos relating to how to do this scarf. The last few videos in the class are the ones you want.
Does this help? Let me know! I’m always here for you.
