Just a quick post to let you know that over the weekend I read through all the amazing comments that people left on the birthday post, sharing how KnitFreedom has changed their lives and how generously they spread the word.
I truly couldn’t believe the amazing outpouring of support and love — I was utterly overcome by the amazing fortune I have to be connected with such incredible students like you all.
I’m SO proud of each and every one of you, for becoming such brave knitters. And I’m so, so grateful for the generosity and passion with which you’ve shared KnitFreedom with your friends. Reading your comments and feeling so connected to all of you is an experience I will never be able to top. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Thank You Liat, thank you so much. When I open my email today and found I was one of the FIVE lucky winners to receive a free e-book of my choice, I actually had tears in my eyes. I can not say it enough, thank you ! I can’t wait to start learning from you on how to knit Continental .
Happy Belated Birthday – to celebrate I bought your instructions for Magic Loop (has been long on my list of things to learn). So far had a sneak peak only as I have several projects on my needles that need finishing but impressed by clear instructions and feel confident to be able to tackle Magic Loop now. Cheers!
Thank you so much for the birthday wishes! I am so glad that you found my Magic Loop book. I hope you really enjoy it once you have a chance to dive in a little deeper.
I’d love to hear about all of your successful projects!
I’m late chiming in, but wanted to share what your work has meant to me. I learned to knit from online videos and soon was attempting socks. After a few near successes and many failures, I stumbled across your website and bought your ebook on socks.
Not only did your book enable me to successfully complete my first pair of socks, but I completed them on a trip to visit my aunt, who was ill with cancer. I was able to give them to her as bedsocks; sadly, she passed a few weeks later.
When I remember saying goodbye to her, that sorrow is intertwined with the pleasure of giving her something comforting, from my own hands.
Thank you, Liat, for sharing your gift of teaching with all of us and helping us to achieve our own successes. May your sojourn in Argentina bring you many adventures and much happiness!
Hi Jennifer,
Thank you so much for sharing such a touching story with me and for letting me be such a meaningful part of your life. :) It means so much to have students like you.
I look forward to hearing about all of your future successes!
Sincerely,
Liat
