Have you noticed that you’re missing the KnitFreedom Newsletters or not receiving your e-books when you make a purchase? G-Mail rolled out some changes to your inbox that can affect which e-mails you see when you log in.
Instead of seeing all of your e-mails in your inbox, G-Mail is now using tabs to separate your e-mails. What used to hit your primary inbox may now be going to tabs labeled Social, Promotions, or Updates.
This could mess up filters you had in place. Your KnitFreedom Newsletters and e-books are probably also getting hidden behind the Updates or Promotions tab.
Can this be fixed?
Yes – and you have a couple of options.
If you like the tabs, but don’t like where the tabs are sending your KnitFreedom e-mails, you can move them to your Primary tab. Just click on one of our KnitFreedom e-mails and drag it into your Primary inbox. You will get an alert that says “This conversation has been moved to “Primary.” Do this for future messages?” Click “Yes!”
If you don’t like the tabs and what they’ve done to your inbox, go to your e-mail settings. Here you can click on “Configure Inbox.” If you uncheck all of the boxes except for the one next to “Primary,” your inbox will go back to looking like it did before the update from G-Mail.
If you like everything the way it is, just keep an eye on your Updates and Promotions tab for your KnitFreedom Newsletters and e-books. We don’t want you to miss out on any special discounts or awesome knitting tips.
As always, please contact us if you have any questions.

This is a new e-mail address for me. I couldn’t find anyplace to notify you and I don’t want to miss out on anything, so could you please forward this to the proper place. Thanks.
Hi Dorine –
We can definitely help you get your e-mail address updated. You should have a message from me in your inbox already to get some details from you so that we can make sure you don’t miss any of Liat’s e-mails.
Please do not forget me. I so enjoy your newsletter. I am currently working on a Master’s degree and do not have too much time to knit. But I promise as soon as I finish I will be knitting up a storm.
