How To Crochet A Scalloped Edge or Border
Let's mix it up! Time for some crochet.
Here's how to create a scalloped border around any knitted (or crocheted) project.

If you'd like to follow along as I knit the swatch above, here are the instructions:
Insert hook into knitted edge, pull up a loop.
Ch 2, dc in same st, ch1, sc in same st.
(Sl st into next st) twice, ch 2, dc in same st, ch1, sc into same st, sl st into same st.

I haven’t crocheted in about 50 years (Oh, my goodness! I’m OLD!) except to chain a “ribbon” instead of doing an I-band or whatever it is called. Thank you for the very clear instructions and video.
